Dairik Amae studied Urasenke style of Tea, one of the main schools of Japanese tea ceremony, under Tea Master Bisgaard Soren. Amae has extensive international experience, having grown up in Korea, Russia, the United States, Syria, and Ukraine. In 2013, he launched Totousha to promote tea in Japan and abroad.

Drawing on my childhood experience of growing up in many different cultures and studying architectural design, I am able to provide a broad explanation of the spirituality of the tea ceremony in terms of its cultural background and aesthetics.

Being in the desert around the ruins of Palmyra in Syria.

As the phrase 心静茶味香 (when your mind is at rest the tea flavor is fragrant) suggests, tea naturally smells best when you are relaxed. I hope you enjoy a relaxing moment during the experience.
