1989: Joined a ski resort and worked in events, sales, and public relations 2002: Founded Ihatovo Abe Kogen Nature School (started snowshoe tours and BC tours) 2003: Member of the Japan Professional Ski Teachers Association, Abe Ski & Snowboard School, began guiding BC ski and snowshoe tours in the Abe and Hachimantai areas. 2015: Certified by Japan Mountain Guides Association as Mountaineering Guide II, Ski Guide I Currently backcountry skiing guide and coordinator at Ihatovo Abe Kogen Nature School and Abe Ski & Snowboard School in Abe and Hachimantai

The harsher nature is and the more beautiful the wilderness forests, both the more fun and painful they can be.
Q: What do you hope that people will get out of experiences with you as a guide?
I hope to provide a place for participants to grow, and not only to have fun, but also to learn to do what they could not do before.
