Bio
Riki Nakajima was born in Shiga Prefecture in 1981. While studying in Whistler, Canada, he obtained CSIA instructor certification and became the first Japanese to be certified as a CFSA freeski instructor. After returning to Japan, he participated in numerous freeski competitions and expanded his activities to backcountry skiing. Based in Tomamu Ski Resort in Hokkaido, he has been active in a wide range of activities including ski lessons, guiding, event management, and MCing. Every spring, he travels abroad to try out new adventurous mountain trips, which he presents in videos, photos, and events. He is the representative of the guide company Riki Japow Guide.

From the ocean to the mountains, my way of life is to play in every environment on earth. For the winter activities that I primarily offer, I not only hold instructor certifications in basic skiing, freestyle skiing, and freeride skiing, but I also hold guide certification for my guiding activities. No one else is the same way. This means that I can, for example, give you a small lecture on skiing in the backcountry or give you advice on jumping. As you improve your knowledge and skills, you can increase the range of your enjoyment and your fascination with nature in a deeper way. I hope that many people will experience firsthand the beauty and ruggedness of the earth and feel the miracle of living here.
