Guide Q&A
Q: What is your most memorable experience in nature?
A week spent in the crater of a volcano in South America, a steep spine in Alaska, deep powder in Hokkaido–I have so many memories. I had many experiences in each place, but I still remember the feeling when I skied down nonstop down the ridge of the slope I had been dreaming of in Hakuba in ideal powder conditions.

Q: What has nature taught you?
When we adjust to the rhythms of nature, we can appreciate its inherent beauty and value. On the other hand, if we go against it, we will be confronted by the harsh reality.
Q: What do you hope that people will get out of experiences with you as a guide?
I believe I can bring them closer to experiencing the true beauty and harshness of nature. But to get there, you need to be extremely careful and humble. When you listen to the voice of nature and draw a line on the slope with the utmost care, a moment of bliss awaits you. I hope to share this with you.
