Bio
Godai was born in 1983 and raised on Shirakaba Lake where he has enjoyed various outdoor activities since his childhood. In the summer he enjoys kayaking, SUP, mountain biking, trail running, and fishing. In winter, he does skiing and snowboarding. He previously loved surfing and lived in the Shonan area but took a break from life at the beach and started working as an outdoor guide at Shirakaba Lake in 2019.

I have always enjoyed skiing and SUPing competitively. This hasn't changed, but I want our guests to first experience the wonder of playing in nature. I look forward to sharing with our guests the time to relax and enjoy the scenery of the mountains from the water. Q: What is your most memorable experience in nature?
When I went to New Zealand, after skiing, I went straight to Lake Wanaka to kayak while looking up at the mountains I had just skied. The greatness of nature I felt at that moment was impressi

It is my life itself, and it is important for me to be able to connect with my customers.
Q: What has nature taught you?
Nature is majestic and unshakable, and we are allowed to play with a small part of it. Even if we have worries, we can take a deep breath in nature and most things will become less of a big deal.
Q: What do you hope that people will get out of experiences with you as a guide?
Most of the guests who come here are experiencing the activity for the first time, and we want them to first refresh themselves by moving their bodies and breathing deeply in nature. We also hope that the experience will make them more interested in nature and provide them with an opportunity to think about climate change and changes in the natural environment, and how these are tied to our lifestyles.
