About

Only 10 minutes by car from New Chitose Airport, the area around Lake Utonai is rich in nature. This tour allows visitors to experience and learn about the history of the Yufutsu Crossing, which was once conducted by the Ainu people to connect the Pacific Ocean and the Sea of Japan. An interpreter may be added to this experience for an additional 10,000 yen.

Itinerary

Start time is from either 10:00 or 13:30 Sample itinerary for 10:00 tour: 09:45 Gather and register 10:00 Move to the starting point 11:30 Tour ends * The time on the river is about 50 minutes.

Requirements

Children over the age of one may participate. Please consult with us if you weigh more than 100 kg.

Equipment

We will provide the necessary equipment (life jacket, paddle, waterproof bag) for the tour. What to bring: ・ Warm clothes such as a down jacket ・ Gloves (thin gloves that can hold a paddle are recommended) ・ Warm shoes Please contact us if you need to rent any of the above items.
