About
Lake Kussharo and the Wakoto Peninsula are located in Akan Mashu National Park. The area is rich in pristine forests, beautiful water, and volcanoes that are still active, with hot springs bubbling up along the shores of the lakes. This is a safe canoeing tour for first-timers with a guide. Oyakotsu Jigoku" is located at the tip of the Wakin Peninsula, which was originally a volcanic island, and you can still see the steam rising from the volcano. There are several hot springs gushing out along the lakeside, so you can feel the volcanic activity close at hand. The tour takes about two hours. A guide will accompany you in a Canadian canoe, so you can enjoy bird watching and photography in peace. Of course, if you are interested, we will teach you how to paddle.
